Dr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman

Dr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman is a distinguished Surgical Oncologist (Cancer Surgeon) with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of a wide range of cancers. Recognized for his clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and commitment to advancing cancer treatment, he has dedicated his career to helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes through modern, evidence-based surgical oncology.

He completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, followed by FCPS in General Surgery in 2011. Driven by a passion for specialized cancer care, he earned his MS in Surgical Oncology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 2018, further strengthening his expertise in complex oncological surgery.

To stay at the forefront of cancer treatment, Dr. Rahman underwent advanced fellowship training at internationally renowned institutions, including Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, India, one of Asia's leading cancer hospitals, and UKM Medical Centre, Malaysia. These experiences have enabled him to adopt the latest surgical techniques and international standards of cancer care in his clinical practice.

Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Rahman combines his responsibilities in patient care with medical education and clinical research. He has authored more than 15 scientific publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his ongoing commitment to improving cancer treatment and contributing to medical science.

Dr. Rahman believes that every cancer patient deserves individualized, multidisciplinary, and compassionate care. He works closely with patients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring they are informed, supported, and confident throughout every stage of their cancer journey.
